    hi to everyone!

**** NEW UPDATE: corrected the component of the themes to Boot Logo, since System Menus replaced files in other themes in Theme Manager... thanks michote for the tip!

**** UPDATE: added White to Color themes, also Landscape and Portrait Themes for the TouchPad, thanks Mutoidi for the ideas....

    sorry for the LARGE post...

this are the themes for installing the open webOS logo contest winner,
the themes are compatible with Theme Manager (Application:ThemeManager - WebOS Internals) by sconix (http://bit.ly/RaSivg),
i also provide separate images for those who would like to not use the themes...

you can install Theme Manager from Preware (Application:Preware - WebOS Internals) or using webOS Quick Install (http://bit.ly/QhzvlB), the other method requiere to use Internalz Pro (Internalz Pro | webOS Nation).

well, i have two new different versions of the logo, one white version, and And a color version, requested by some of you guys, the color version features colors inspired by Palm Orange, Handspring Green and HP Blue, and of course those are the colors used in the webOS Nation logo.

the new ones looks like the cards in webOS 3.x but sorted like in webOS 2.x, hahaha, hope you see it.... also for trying to correct the Jim Carrey's The CLAW effect, or the SNAKE/MOUTH effect that some users said... hahhahha....

I also made an image to make the Emulator device look like a Palm Pre 2 (i didn't use a pre3, because it does not fit the size, is larger and i put the "black strip" that appears in some apps, but when you turn the touchpad horizontally, the black strip won't fit in the right place) i include an alternate version with a Palm Pre Plus.

the images, for the Emulator as well as the USB Mode are based on the ones i made for WiFi File Sharing (http://bit.ly/SPaIsr) by ShiftyAxel (http://bit.ly/UXJ9dR)

Theme Manager can roll back changes automatically when you uninstall a theme. i provide a restoration theme just in case. if you wish to, you can back up first, but i also provide backups of the individual files, just in case you need them. I am not responsible for any loss, or damage of any kind for your data or device, this is made with the best toughts in mind, you should not have problems, but sometimes things can go wrong.

and if you like my work, donations are really appreciated. Part of the donations will go to help my nephew with his LEUKEMIA treatment.

since in Mexico there is no donation button, you can send donations, via send payment in paypal to my email bluerq@gmail.com. THANKS FOR YOU SUPPORT.

    here's a preview... http://bit.ly/QSLuG4

    and here they are:

    Themes:

Theme Manager by sconix, only supports webOS devices using 2.1.0 and up, so if you are using older versions of webOS, please use the Other Method steps... and Pixi with webOS 2.x users also use Other Method because apparently is not supported by Theme Manager (and since my pixi is dead, i cannot test them, sorry).

You Can use both color themes for your Device, for example, if you have a White HP Veer, you can use the HP Veer Black or the HP Veer White theme, so if you choose the Black one, the USB image will feature a Black Veer, and if you use the White one, the usb mode image will be a White HP Veer. same case for the touchpad, if you have the black one, and wannna have the white touchpad in the usb mode, feel free to use... hahahahha...

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    HOW TO INSTALL:

    FOR THEMES:

Have Enyo installed?, you can do this by installing HP Maps (Bing Maps) update from the HP App Catalog, or using Preware, search for "Enyo" and install it.

Install Theme Manager by sconix. it won't open if you don't have Enyo Installed.

download the theme that matches your webOS device, and put it in the downloads folder in the USB drive( \media\internal\downloads ) of your device,

If you have done that, then open Theme Manager, then tap on the Theme Manager Menu, then select "Theme Library"", and then "Install New Themes", and select the .zip file that you previously downloaded, and tap OK.

if your using a phone, then click on the Folder icon that will appear on the right corner at the bottom of the screen, and Navigate to the last theme (move the themes, like in the Photos app, swipe your finger from side to side to move to next or prev theme... or you can select the List icon on the bottom right corner also and tap the theme)

Tap on the "Select This Theme" button, and then on the "Apply Current Theme" of the left Panel, follow on screen instructions, and then Restart Luna.... and that it, you'll have your Open webOS logo contest theme!

    -----------------------

    OTHER METHOD:

Install Internalz Pro by Canuck Software (Jason Robitaille). Now, let's see if Master Mode is on. open it, and Tap on the Internalz Pro Menu, select Preferences, and Move to the Bottom of the screen, and make shure "Master Mode" is on, if not tap the switch, and Carefully Read the Advice, if you agree, then tap Yes. If you prefer not to enable Master mode, you can also see webOS-internals' Wiki about webOS Boot themes here: Patch webOS Boot Themes - WebOS Internals and use the command line instructions.

If you have Master Mode Enabled, then let's preceed:

first, download the appropiate images for the Bootlogo (and USB Mode if desired), make sure you remember where you save them, and do not change their names.

Open Internalz Pro, and navigate to the Folder where you downloaded the images.
select an image, and tap over the name and select move then navigate and select:

If you're using a Palm Pre, Pre Plus, Pixi, Pixi Plus, Pre 2 and TouchPad the path will be: /usr/palm/sysmgr/images

If you are using a Pre3 the path will be: /usr/palm/sysmgr/images/1.5

after you select the path, tap select. you will be prompt if you want to replace the file, tap yes. repeat the process for each image you downloaded (Emulator, USB Mode and Bootscreens)

after you finish, restart your device, and you're done!

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

hope my instructions are clear, if you have any problems, feel free to ask, comments and/or suggestions are appreciated. Sorry for the HUGE delay on making things available but thing have been very complicated (new 2300usd hp notebook stolen, went out of business, bought new computer and then my house was robbed, nephew with leukemia... :S)

If you like my work, donations are really appreciated. Part of the donations will go to help my nephew with his LEUKEMIA treatment.

I'm on Pre 3 on 2.2.4 using Theme Manager. Applying fails with the error: "Something went wrong in applying the theme! See /media/internal/webos-ausmt.log for the error."

    NIce.
The white 'hp-logo.' with the coloured 'hp-logo-bright.' is a good looking TP boot-combo too actually!
Had to rotate the images through 90 to get them to sit right in 'Landscape' orientation.

    Thank You.

(EDIT: If you also reverse-name the two files.. the more attractive 'bright' Colour image predominates on boot.

    thanks for you likes!

    @njitipairote:
i had the same problema, with my pre3 the first time... try unistalling theme manager and AUSMT, restart phone, and then reistall them.... that worked for me.... and for some reason my other pre3 didn't have that problem, and both have the same things installed.

and download the theme again (do not open it, because my dad open it and then we couldn't istall it.... don't know why, or maybe it was corrupt because of the download)

    hope it works for you!

    @Mutoidi:
great! i'll make that themes too! i'll add them later... thanks for you advice!!!

do you have the dark glass or other/older pre3 themes/bootlogo's on already?, this might likely cause a clash.

    Nice work. Really like it.
But could you please change The theme Component from "system_menus" to "boot_logo".
For some reason this component is not documented in the wiki, but it would be the proper category.
For now it overwrites systemmenus in other themes.
Once again, thanks for your work.
