[Touchpad] Keyboard Themes

Actually got around to fixing up my themes i dumped in random posts in Sledges own keyboard theme thread (sorry for hijacking yours occasionally), also got around to making the themes work on more than just 3.0.5.

Will have more coming when/if i can pluck the courage to do more, currently have a few unfinished im just not happy with, a Lego styled keyboard and another retro keyboard set such as the Spectrum 8k and C64.

If you know how theme manager works, your laughing, if not read a few other posts knocking around on how to use it properly and its themes.

any issues, just come here and scream and shout, ill try to fix asap.

Added An Attempt at an 8k Sinclair Spectrum Keyboard (far from unfinished, not too happy with it yet, mostly due to ugly font issues i cant do a thing about)

Had a few ask me now if these themes by me and other people stop their modified keyboard patches from working, answer is NO, mine and other peoples keyboard "themes" are skins only, they DO NOT modify or ruin your custom keyboard setups, they only change the visual appearance of the default buttons/images and in no way alter how your keyboard is setup or operates.

ok um how should I go about installing the keyboard themes ? I have been around much lately and am out of touch a little lol

you will find an app in Preware called "Theme Manager" made by sconix, if you place 1 of the theme zip files in your downloads folder and have theme manager scan for themes it will pickup the theme and you can pick the new keyboard themes.

in an ideal world you want any theming done via Theme Manager, rather than via a direct patch as theme manager lets you mix and match elements of several themes to customise a unique personalised theme, i think theres around 13 different theme elements that can be interchanged among any of your installed themes.

your problem will be due to the image from the keyboard in my theme conflicting with the one you have, if you want to get around this, uninstall yours, extract my archive or anyone elses for that matter, and add your black image over the top of my/some1 elses image, rezip the file and use that, only do thsi if you cant do what you want with theme manager.

these themes should work fine with any altered keyboard setups as another user already noted in Sledge's theme thread, but any other theme that alters the same things like garrets excelent dark glass themes etc will also conflict so the theme manager route is best.

just uninstall that arrows patch and install the LunaCE webOS ports new Luna manager for the TPad and it has the arrows included into that port. along with some other great functions !!!

thats down to the lunaCE devs at a guess or the other thread on custom keyboard layouts.

well it seems I had to email the zip to myself from here instead of downloading it directly from here which didn't work. The former did so I'm all good now thanks @ geek !!
