Exclamation HELP! Theme won't uninstall!

I installed the Glass Effect Sweet for the TouchPad and it worked great for a while. All of the sudden there was an issue and it wouldn't show most if my installed packages. I then used the Emergency Reconstruction Utility, which fixed it, except for the theme which is installed, but not showing. I can't figure out how to uninstall it. Can someone please help.

I was avoiding that because I thought it would overwrite my backups. I'll give it a shot. Thanks

It won't install. It tells me that there's a theme installed, and that I need to uninstall it before adding a theme.

Yeah, I just didn't want to take the time to reinstall all of my apps and media. I did manage to fix it without doctoring. Thanks for your help, though.

I'm curious too how that worked out. I have the same problem, and was looking up how to remove it manually.

I eventually want to get into theming on the touchpad- have been doing android theming for a while.

. . NS4G . . CM7 . .

Same problem here with 'stuck' un-uninstallable 'Glass Effect for TP' Theme.. can I uninstall manually to bypass 'Doctoring'?

When I had the issue, my touchpad didn't recognize that there was a theme installed. When I tried to install a theme over it, it also gave me an error. The error it gave me said that it couldn't create a certain directory because it already exists. Using Internalz Pro, I navigated to that directory and deleted it. Then I reinstalled the same theme. After that I uninstalled it and everything was back to normal.

OK.. thanks.. I'll get onto it. Just didn't want to go deleting directories without checking in first!

*Edit: Later.. all good now too!

I'm having the similar issue. I downloaded a theme from WebOS Quick install.. I deleted the icon/theme while the theme was still active before changing it and I'm unable to download any other themes. I get the same error message also.. Where can I find internalz pro?

Thanks

You can download it with Preware or webOS Quick Install.

I'm still having the same issue and can't find the theme I downloaded originally and I can't re-download it either. I still receive the same error trying to d/l another theme.

In Preware or webOS Quick Install does it show that the theme is installed?
