Yea, that's the only major problem I'm seeing here. We'd need a way for the patch/theme to automatically uninstall before updating the app... That would be pretty messy if they weren't uninstalled lol

I think when an app updates, the old version is uninstalled and then the new version is installed. That would wipe out any changes, but then the theme and patch would get stuck...

We would need some kind of trigger.
If preware see that an app with a theme is installed: it would remove the theme, install the app update and then re-install the patch wow lol

My idea for this thread was having the ability to have multiple themes installed at the same time. It would make it easier to theme single apps without needing the Dev to actually include them in the app.
Haha, guess I should pay closer attention. Hard to keep track of these things in Forums Beta. Carry on, carry on.

This is what I do for individual app themes:

I have a directory on my USB drive called .AppThemes, which contains all the individual app themes, exactly the way they are laid out in /media/cryptofs/apps/.

When I update an app, I just use Internalz to copy the correct folder from .AppThemes into the applications directory.

It's "hacky", but I honestly could not think of a better way to do it, considering how often some apps are updated. The main thing is that they are separate from the main theme.
