Loading a Theme

I am trying to load a theme, though I am receiving the error:

SORRY, THEMING IS CURRENTLY DISABLED UNTIL THE NEW THEMING SPECIFICATION IS PUT IN PLACE.

Am I doing someting wrong, or just need to wait.

Install Preware and use that to apply themes. There's no need to do it via WebOS Quick Install.

What if we want to check it on the emulator first? I guess we need to use an older version.

Yeah you can use 2.96 - it's been uploaded in various threads around the forum for you to download.

I have preware but i dont see where i can install a theme or such?? Ive downloaded a theme of the saint football team and i would really like to get it but idk how i keep getting the same error
