How do we chnage the background wall paper of the Music App?

WebOs quick install has options to change dialer background, lock screen , but how can we change the back ground in the music App?

Some themes have the music app background changed . The theme i like the most is the Original Blue theme, I would like the music App to have a different Background is there a way to do this?

Also would like to change other system icons to match Blue theme

Music app icon, & Calc Icon

    Hi Addie,

If you have the .png that you would like to use, you can send it via Quick Install. Here's the location you want to send it to:

    /usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.musicplayer/images

You also need to name it:
    background.png

That should do it... Good Luck!

WOW Thanks For that Tip, How do we find the image directories for other apps?

Funny thing happened when I sent the PNG file to the following Directory

    /usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.musicplayer/images

Via Quick Install it also replaced my Phone backdrop background??

Wow that's weird. I changed my music and video player backgrounds that way before madolen and the guys fixed the Lost theme and it didn't change my phone dialer, but I did it with 2.3 not 2.5, maybe it's an issue with QI. Maybe you can change it back with the phone dialer tweak. madolen has a "how to" included in his themes on his master theme page. it lists all the image directories.

Yeah I was able to change it back, just recognized it as a possible bug, but easily remedied.

    Question?
How do i change the background of the Web browser page? What is the proper directory to load to and is it still called background image?

What other apps can we change background to?
    I know of the following
    • Music App
    • Phonedialer
    • Homescreen
    • message app

    Web browser?

You can also change the video player as well. Here's the web browser location:

    /usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.browser/images

    This is called background-bookmarks-grid.png.

    The Video Player is:

    /usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.videoplayer.launcher/images

    and that's called background.png.

    Have fun!!!!
