Original Blue Theme

Current version v2.4.1. Fully compatible with WebOS 1.4.1!

Please note: I spent a ton of time making this theme, creating most icons from scratch, and editing the rest to fit. If you would like to use them for your own theme, feel free. All I ask is that you please give me credit.

Well since I've seen a lot of people saying they like my theme, and using my icons in their own themes, I thought it was time to make my own thread for it.

I've spent a ton of time on this, creating most of the icons from scratch.

New splash screens/icons for core apps after 1.4 update
Phone app compatible with 1.4
Calculator button changes
Camera Button changes
Added multi-scrim patch
Top bar will now correctly display blue letters
Redid most of messaging app
Completely redid app catalog
Youtube, Wifi, Updates, Location, and Help apps now blue
Amazon store and streaming media player are now more blue
New update icon
New checkmark icons
Arrow in top launcher brighter blue
Bluetooth icon matches a little better
Changed avatar border in contacts app
Added blue glow to screen lock clock
Activity progress icons are now blue
Fixed issues with green dialer in 1.3.5
Activity spinners (loading icons) are now blue
Dialer now has blue text
Modified dev mode icon
Changed documents icon
Yellow buttons now orange; red buttons deeper color red
Changed a few icons in the videoplayer/musicplayer
Redid look of app catalog
Notification badges now better color blue
Loading circle during phone restart now blue
All icons now more uniform in color (lock icon matches phone-answer button better, etc.)
Email folder icons better blue
Neon boot screen is a little darker blue to match better
Too much more to list, have a look for yourself!

Made messenger 32x32 icon compatible with WebOS 1.2
I made a new image for the photo background
Changed more icons in dialer
Fixed fade at bottom of call log to cover everything outside the box
Changed volume icons
Made arrow next to app name blue
Changed the rest of the notification icons
Changed more system files
Media sync image to match USB mode
New emoticons (really the same ones with a blue hue)
Made launcher background more compatible with the 'remove rounded corners' patch

Thanks to deviantdark for the awesome iconset that I used for the email icons.
All credit goes to digitalblasphemy.com for the wallpaper image.

I want to give a huge thanks to DrSuSE and 2sslow. 2sslow wrote and helped modify the multiscrim patch, and DrSuSE has been helping out with all kinds of odds and ends, from testing to modilying patches, and he has really helped this release along. The theme wouldn't be where it's at today without those guys!

As of 2.4.1, this theme will include some patches. These patches are only there to alter the look of some apps, and will not change the way your device works in any way.

If you like this theme, can help me out a little by donating, it would be greatly appreciated!

I highly recommend downloading and installing the Precentral version via Preware to maximize compatibility. That way you will also be notified of updates and can remove any patches if you don't want them. There are also a few things the Prethemer version won't install.

Awesome icons and theme, the only issue I have is that I do not like the colored text on the status bar. Is there a way to keep the default font?

Yes, the font won't change at all unless you decide to manually change it later. Installing my theme will have no effect on it.

I didn't word that right, my bad. I mean the Sprint font, battery font and the status bar icons. My apology for lack of details. Great job on this though man I'm so tempted to put this on even with it like that.

That is what he is saying the status bar has nothing to do w/ his themes. His themes are just icons.

They have no effect on the bar-assistant.js

Haha, yeah, that's what I meant, just didn't know how to word it right. I can certainly include that if people want it. I am constantly tweaking different things on my pre, so it's hard to keep track of everything I've done so far. I just included the main things I thought people would want in my theme, but there are lots of little tweaks to icons and such that aren't in there yet.

I originally made this theme for myself (like I do with pretty much anything I can that has the capability to be customized) but I figured I would share it with the community.

I tried to install the blue theme and I followed every step, and sent the files using quick install but when I put the code you provided into putty it says the directory does not exist. can someone help

just edit it to- color: blue and it will make it blue, you don't really need the # code.
