can anyone please explain how to isntall themes on the pre i have downloaded apps from the homebrew section but i really want new themes

Sure, you have to figure out first though what parts of the Pre you want to theme and then just choose the How-to's on the first page. If you are interested in just changing the icons, check this thread out

ok that looks a little more techy then i can figure out how about a simple one ( i hope) how to change the dialer look green is just not doing it for me

This is going to sound really n00b, but i honestly haven't even looked in this particular forum until today.

These themes are all great and i would love to add them, but does this require rooting your Pre?

Yes, it's easy though and there are plenty of people who wouldn't mind helping, myself included :-)

Here is another theme I was working on... I have been tryin to weed my way through all of the code I have in my Matrix Theme How To and I figured the best way to test it would be by installing a new theme.. This is what I ended up with>>>

I just thought I would let everyone know I have developed a .zip file which will undo anychanges done by the two themes I have created.. It will in effect change the pre theme back to STOCK>>> This will work with my themes, but because the codes are specific to the files I have changed it may not undo the changes made by other themes.

The STOCK THEME is located in the first post on both of my theme threads...

ALL OF MY THEMES INCLUDE A DETAILED HOW TO --- its included in the .zip file
