recurring meetings on 1st weekday of month show for a full week. frustrating

this has been a problem as far as i can remember. i just upgraded from 1.4.1 to 2.1 and the problem is still there ;(

recurring meeting invites that occur on the first weekday of the month show in the calendar every day starting that day for a week.

frustrating! anybody figure out how to solve this? i'm using corporate exchange and myself and the one other person on the team that has a palm both have this issue.
