Migrate from Exchange to Google

Similar to http://forums.precentral.net/web-os-...-contacts.html but here's the difference:

I was laid off yesterday. So I no longer have access to the Exchange Server. My contacts, appointments, etc. are on the phone but I want to move them to Google. I can't do an export from Exchange. I switched my default accounts to Google but that (obviously) hasn't worked.

Before I go ahead and delete the Exchange account from my Pre (since I'm getting an "Unable to Sign In" error) I would like to know that my contacts and appointments are in the GOogle cloud.

Any suggestions?
