aim & yahoo sync question

i've noticed that some of my linked I'm contacts show a little dot next to the name that is filled in if the contact is signed in...however there are many contacts from aim or yahoo messenger that don't have the dot next to it...is there a reason for this?

I think its cause they are in your yahoo contacts but are not necessarily assigned to the yahoo im ... i think maybe if we remove yahoo synergy from contacts but keep it in messaging, only the contacts with actual yahoo im will be in the pre's contacts
