I've tried perusing the forums for an answer but no luck as of yet for an answer to my question.

My company has just advised me that I need to disconnect my exchange account off my pre. At this time, my company only supports any WinMo phone or the iPhone for EAS. My question is, with the introduction of 1.2 and 1.2.1 to the pre, does the pre support as many security policies as either of the two OS's? Of my knowledge the only two policies they have enforced is a PIN and the ability to remote wipe.

I don't believe they've looked into the level of security the palm pre can support for EAS. I tried to state my case but was still advised to disconnect.

It may be just a matter of time before WebOS is approved within my company but I was wondering why they see it as an unapproved device for connecting to our Exchange server?
