Email notifications stopped working today...

Updated to 1.2 two days ago, (the night it was released), all seemed to go well, yesterday I received email, and the notifications were displayed just as they always had been.

This morning, however, the notifications for email didn't work anymore. - the mail came in, and is there whenever I check, but the notifications have stopped.
Checked to make sure the prefs were not changed somehow, and they are set correctly.

Anyone else notice this? ...anyone have an idea for a fix?

SMS/MMS message notifications are not affected. (BTW - love the contact pic showing up, nice addition)

UPDATE: resetting the phone - (Device Info/reset options/reset), seems to have fixed the email notification issue. ghost in the machine, I guess.
