Both my sons have Pres and work at firms where they use rolling PINS from their blackberry to get email. If they access email from the web they need their blackberrys to get the rolling security code. I know nothing about EAS. Can the Pre handle this rolling code? If it can't now, do you think it will be able to handle it in the future? So far both their IT Depts have said "Blackberry access only".

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

My thought is no, Palm won't spend a lot of time on that. Months before it came out, an internal paper made it clear, they did not want the Pre sold to the wrong customers, the ones that for which the Palm Pro would be a much better fit.

But who knows. I know a lot of people are locked to BB for business for that reason alone. The Pre wasn't designed to be a business device like the BB.

I'll step back on my comments above now. Maybe it's been addressed now??

Thanks. I saw a similar article. My question remains for EAS users as to the prospect that the rolling code RSA security works or will work on the Pre in the future.
