Using EAS and 1.1 with a self signed certificate. It works perfectly when I remove the S from HTTPS in the incoming mail server field. I know this puts me at risk but when I add the "S" I still get the "invalid certificate check time and date message."

I have installed the certificate. Now I am looking for some specific instructions that I can send to our server admin.

My only guess is the certificate you install is not the Root cert. There are other certs on the server that aren't root, and my guess is you don't have the root. I use a self-signed cert on my Pre and I've had no problems since launch day. I'm also the admin for the email server, so that helps as well.

My IT guy has told me that was the root but I will ask again. Thanks.

I had this issue. The certificate's common name did not match the address I was using for the mail server. I had to create a new certificate where the name matched the name of mail server exactly before it worked
