I am trying to use Companionlink to pull my contacts from Palm Desktop and put them on gmail contacts. But, the addresses don't come over to Google. All I get are names, email address, and phone numbers. Does anyone know how to get this to work? Is it possible?

    Thanks for the help.

    pistos,

    On your Windows Desktop PC:

Run CompanionLink Setup, then select the Category Manager.

Pick your profile, then click the Next button.

Select Google Contacts, then click the Application Settings button.

Click the Field Mapping tab, make sure you have the right Palm Desktop address fields mapped to the right Google Contact fields.

Click the Finish button to save your changes, then synchronize.

    have fun,
    john

Thanks for reply John. I was doing as you described, but for some odd reason it would not map the addresses and bring those over with the names. I finally gave up and managed to get a vCard export from Palm Desktop to go into Gmail.

So, I got my datebook to come over with Companionlink and my addresses to come over with a vCard export. Odd, but it is all there now.
