Bluetooth messaging with Motorola Motonav

OK, so I just received my new Motorola Motonav TN765T and paired it up with my Palm Pre Plus from Verizon. Although I'm able to search through all my contacts and make calls fine, I can't seem to get Messaging to work. After a little research now, I'm trying to figure out if the Palm simply doesn't support the ability to txt using bluetooth. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do?

i know what palm BT stack doesnt support messaging through my ford sync system. (propably the same for yours) Im hoping that they add that with webos2.0
