[Patch] User Agent Override

Development of this app/patch/theme has been halted, so this thread is no longer relevant. I'll be putting all my effort into cross-platform Enyo2 applications from now on. If you'd like to keep up with me and my latest work, you know where to find me.

Your user-agent should look similar to this:

If you install this patch, can you try these three things and let me know if you get the "good" UI?

1. Search Google from Just Type.
2. Search Google from web browser address bar.
3. Go to Google.com.

well it doesn't bring back all the google functions , but it does bring back the kool search functions lol which is awesome sauce!!

Seems Google fixed it from their end, so searches should be using the good mobile UI now. Credit for this patch goes to dkirker; I just put it into an ipk.

Hmm. You checked in all the categories? Can you see it in WOSQI?

The CNN mobile website stopped loading on both my unlocked Pre2, and my Pre3. Still work OK on a Pixi Plus, must be a WebOS2 problem. Other websites often loaded incorrectly formatted. Installed the User Agent Override patch on Pre2/Pre3 and problem solved. Great patch. Thanks.
