Thanks!!!

I'll try a different description of the behavior I'm getting.

When a 3-column display is chosen in igoogle settings, only 2 columns are displayed. When igoogle is set for a 2-column display, only 1 column is displayed.

In both cases there is blank space on the right side of the screen where the missing column should be. The content of the missing column in shown at the bottom of the columns that are displayed.

I'm not sure what's causing that. I'm not able to test Touchpad issues either. Sorry...

I'm sure it's possible, but I've been really short on time lately... As a result, I haven't been able to do much webOS dev.

I'm confused. How can you develop an app for the Touchpad without being able to test it?

I made these patches back when I had a Touchpad. Plus, there wasn't much testing involved since dkirker did all the work; i just put it in patch form.

I understand. Is there no way to deal with this issue? The agent is quite useful in that it enable me to read a tax research service website that doesn't respond properly to the standard TP browser. The info. on that website is my primary research tool - and costs a lot of money, too. It will increase my productivity to be able to read that site with my TP.

I wouldn't be able to troubleshoot it. I'd bet it's caused by the aging Touchpad browser and there's not much I can do about that.

Please, don't forget Google's Android Mobile Chrome browser "User agent" patch for devices like the Pre 2 as well.

Don't worry, I didn't forget. Just short on webOS dev time lately.

The user-agent over-ride won't fix rendering issues that you have... If a site for a desktop browser doesn't work on the TouchPad, then that is an issue of the actual browser itself. I've been poking at getting IsisCE to work on the TouchPad in my spare time, and started to write a wiki page, but there are no other solutions.
