In the past for 2.0.x and 2.1.x there were quite a few "reverse number lookup" patches, however these were all limited to 1 country.
This new patch only works on 2.2.x currently. It will do a number lookup for the following countries currently: AT BE CH DE FR NL Based on the phone number you're dialing it will use Enyo to figure out what country you are dialing. Based on that parameter it will do the reverse lookup. So this will work with both international formats (+49-xx-xxxxxxx) and the local format 0xx-xxxxxxxx. It should even work when you're roaming. So when you're in France and you call a local French number without the +33 country code, it should recognize you are trying to call a French number and use the French reverse lookup website ![]() The following sites are currently used: AT: Gelbe Seiten, Telefonbuch und Routenplaner - HEROLD.at BE: International - Infobel - Telephone Directories CH: tel.search.ch DE: mobil.dasoertliche.de FR: Annuaire telephonique entreprise et professionnel NL: TelefoonDetective.nl - Zoek op Telefoonnummer If no site is available it will just try to Google your number ![]() Other countries can be easily added, so if people have suggestions, I'm happy to incorporate them

This is really great. Tested it on Pre 2/3 and as well with my german local numbers also with foreign AT/FR numbers.
Thx alot to taking care of the patch for enyo and making it much better. A great feature that is not so common on other platforms.

Works perfectly thank you.
But maybe for the french website instead of 11800 you could use Annu.com it's searching among professional AND personal phone numbers and the interface is very basic which is a good thing on a phone screen. |

So far the URL http://www.paginebianche.it/ricerca-...&qs=0668892513 seems to work fine. I also will add a feature to this patch. The option Google will be available all the time, also for numbers from AT, BE, CH, DE etc. Makes sense IMO, because numbers often have no reverse lookup entry but you can find them on google. Nice would be also : a test number from a company or so, which can be resolved by this site the international dial prefix for you country and the geocode e.g.: +49 and DE for Germany or +31 and NL for the Netherlands I think India has +91 or +92 and IN but I am not sure |

I think I have some scripts from my Asterisk PBX that did CID lookup in the U.S. Let me dig that up and see if I can use it.
