[Patch request] Change sort order in messaging

I noticed that the messaging application automatically sorts messages by most recently received. I was wondering if it is possible for someone to make a patch that allows messages to be sorted by unread to read like my old dumbphones did. I have missed some messages in the past that remained unread for a long time because they weren't at the top of the conversations list, so this would really help.
