[PATCH REQUEST]Refresh minimized calendar

Hello!!!

I read, read and read many threads and posts and i don't found it.
When the calendar app is minimized it not refresh.
The application icon refreshes the day of the month when switching from day.
But the application, in minimized mode, does not refresh the present day.

It's true?
There are any patch to refresh the present day when switching from day in minimized mode?
If not, It's possible to make this patch?
