(Patch request)Pre or Veer Keyboard to work with Touchpad using bluetooth?

I think it would be awesome if we could use our pre's bluetooth functionality to control our touchpads. I don't know how far fetched this is. Why would anyone want this you ask.

1. Sometimes a physical keyboard is better
2. Your phone is easier to take around with you than a keyboard
3. For those of us that can touch type with our Pre's and Veers, this is a very useful function
4. We make less mistakes with a physical keyboard.

Who thinks this is a great idea or am I the only one?
