Just a thought... instead of bypassing the pin completely how about modifying the "Lock After" Setting in the "Screen & Lock" app? 5 minutes is the Max time right now... even an hour would be better but "never" would be awesome.

I am not sure if I am even looking in the right place but I was playing with..

/usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.screenlock/source/ScreenLockPrefApp.js (Touchpad) and usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.screenlock/app/controllers/securityconfig-assistant.js (Pre 3)

I can't seem to make any headway.. although I barely know what I am doing lol

"Lock After [time]" is also not controlled by the javascript unlike the Standby times which are. I tried to put values in anyways and it didn't work.
