@LizzieBennet

If you are on the newest version update 3.0.4 on the TouchPad the Patch isn't released as of yet to Preware if that is where you are looking. (The patch is submitted and will be released in the near future)

The name of the Patch in Preware is "Default to Month View"

If you are still using version 3.0.2 on your TouchPad the Patch should be available for download.

It is available in Preware - 3.0.4-3. I get an install error both via Preware or using Internalz pro. 2 out of 2 hunks failed under the postinst section. Unable to run command IPKG_OFFLINE_ROOT.........

@rstark

I'm assuming you have UberCalendar HD installed?
If so it seems that both patches installed will conflict with each other.

So you will have to decide one or the other, try un-installing the UberCalendar HD patch and see if re-installing the Default to Month patch works.

Default Where did it go?

So I went to preware to update to the new version and it keeps showing the old version. So I uninstalled the old version and went back to preware to reinstall and now it's not even finding it in preware! Help, I really need this fix.

Thanks!

Are you searching for "Default to Month View" in Preware?

Yeah I am...might be the filter at work catching it. I'll try at home tonight and see if I can find it.

I assume this will collide with Ubercalendar that was just updated for 3.05? when I tried to install your patch it threw an error. Then I realized that Ubercalendar has already an open to month view by default already....
thanks

@derausgewanderte

Yes, both patches installed will conflict with each other.

So you will have to decide one or the other, if you want to use this patch try un-installing the UberCalendar HD patch and installing the Default to Month patch.

@jasonhaddock

I don't know why you wouldn't see it showing up it shows up fine for me. Possibly try "Updating Feeds" located in the top left pull down menu when inside the Preware App.

I have found that sometimes when things are not behaving as expected that a system reboot is quite helpful.

I recently received a replacement Sprint Pre- and had to reinstall some of my patches.

Default to Month View in Calendar is missing from Preware.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks!

I do not believe that this patch was ever available for the phone OS. The calendar on the phone OS will open to the view it last had. If you close calendar while in the month view the next time you open calendar it will be in month view. I try to always make sure I am in month view when I close the calendar on my phone.
