I could not get the patch to install with WOSQI, but was able to email it and install using Internalz. This is looking very good so far!!! Makes the calendar much more useful. Thank you frantid and MetaView!!!

Updated the first post.

Added my attempt at fixing the all day event display in week view. i.e. keeping them fixed in place. Also a fix for week view display issues when sliding the pane. It has to redraw, but at least you don't have to switch views back and forth manually.

It might not be pretty but it works. I'm open to any css help, as I've said before I'm more of a mechanic than a designer

what would be really nice is if we could see my daily agenda in the dashboard, or something similar?

That's an interesting idea. I wonder if it's possible. Have you seen an app that does something like that?

Sounds like a good idea for an app, maybe someone else will pick it up.

Updated first post to 1-6

Had to adjust the fix for week view. Because of the new way you can now only drag the pane if you use the grab buttons. The other way was causing too many refreshes. Added a setting in preferences for start and end time of day. Actually just un-commented it as it was there already. Used the start of day preference for scrolling in week & day view.

I just installed the patch and will play with it over the next week. I'm really liking it so far. I would be interested in being able to color code my calendar.

I'm a freelancer and do not have "appointments" but "jobs". A job can be one or more days and there are multiple jobs per month. I'd like each job to be a separate color which is easier for me to see at a quick glance when someone asks about my availability. The Google calendar has this ability to a degree but I'd like the month view to show a whole block of color not just the line of text (I hope I explained that well).

Thanks for bringing back features I had in my old Handspring Visor and Tungsten T5 that I really missed.

I could end up with 100 different calendars each year. :-)

I just came home from my holliday, and I see some were very busy as I was lazy! I am very happy to see that you began to port UC to the TouchPad.

I just wanted to report that, on my TouchPad, the delay when switching from day view to week view is approx 5 seconds too.

I would like the Thanks button to be implemented in Forums/Communities too - DeCorvett?

Hi Kratus, welcome back.

Is it that way without the patch as well? I wonder what causes it?

You could use colored squares for your icons. But if I understand you, you want the whole line of the event highlighted in a color? You're setting the event color in google calendars on the web interface?

Well, I did not install the patch yet, I was just reading the last posts to catch up what happened during my holliday.

I shot a little video with my pre2 so you can see what happens on my TouchPad when I switch between day and week view, with the stock 3.0.2 calendar.
Here is the link to my video: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10176361/CIMG0128.mp4

Well just installed the patch and come across a few issues. The patch looks really nice may I add.

First is the sliding panels. If I minimize the small left one so that I can just see the whole day it doesn't render properly and you can still see a little of the panel behind.

When you change orientation with small panel out on the left, to vertical orientation the date doesn't render properly you have overlapping text

Also I wasn't quite sure do we need to save any sort of icons that weren't in the patch?
