I just discovered this patch in Preware while browsing. After reading this thread a bit, I'm still confused.

My Touchpad is up to speed and I haven't noticed any problems with the calendar (but that doesn't necessarily mean there aren't any...); but what do I have to do to install your latest patch that came out today, 9.11.11? Can I just install it? Thanks.

Yes, you can just install it. If you are not worried about more than 3 months of your calendar history, then that's it.

If you want the history, just toggle the calendar off in the accounts app and close the account app. Then toggle it back on.

Updated TouchPad version to allow for google event invites. You need to use the latest Local touchpad version of UC to test invites.

You mean with the local one? That is expected. If you want, you can copy the .json file to the directory to get tweaks support. Only Preware can properly build it into the same package for tweaks support.

No the preware version. Or does that still require the manual file copy action?

It has been syncing my only google account for over 2 hours now too!!!!?????? It only has about 300 to 400 events I guess????

Is this the first time you've tried it? Can you post a log by using lumberjack?

I restarted the device during the loooong sync. When it came up again, it synced again, but completed a lot quicker.

I'll start looking for the log when I encounter more sync problems.

Mmm, reading the first post again, am I using a webOS 2.1 version on my TP now since it is installed from the preware feed?

No it should be okay. The TP version is in Preware. I'll update it since the tweaks part didn't come through.

It is not possible to bring the USA Veer patch to Preware. Unfortunately, they fail to generate correctly. It is a limit of how the system works. The EU version should work because it is the same as 2.1

The contact sync is now in all the sync behaviors patch.

Pre2 2.1 and EU (WR-world ready)Veer 2.1.1 use the same patch.

USA Veer 2.1.2 has to have it's own patch.

Updated first post, patches modified to reduce logging in 2.x versions. All updates submitted to Preware, except USA Veer version.

Just by hitting install on the patch in preware. I also tried downloading the patch from the first page and hitting install when I opened that. Is there a different way I should be installing it? Thanks!
