The first post describes how to have a successful full sync. The other thread is general install method. It will work fine with webOS QI 4.2.3. The only difference is this is a local patch. So you need to use the '+' in QI and browse to the downloaded patch file. Select it and install.

It means QI can't connect to the server to load the required patch install scripts. Try using QI to send the file to your device, it's a menu item in QI. Select the file as the source file for destination use "/media/internal/" Then open Internalz Pro and open the file you just transferred. It should give you an install patch button.

OK.

File transfered to the Pre3, with InternalzPro I tried to install it and got the same error.

Then I suspected that the Pre3 needed a data connection... and... bingo, it worked once 3G is on (I don't have wifi here).

I will test the google sync this evening, with wifi (several years of agenda to sync).

I managed to get a Wifi connection here (with this : Set Windows 7 as WiFi HotSpot).

I deleted the google agenda account, installed the WebOS patch, recreate the google agenda account and no luck : nothing beyond 7 of November...

If you have a lot of events, it can take a while to get there. Did you delete the account or just toggle the calendar off?

1/ deleted the account
2/ installed the patch with InternalzPro + restart
3/ create the account + sync => no more that 2 months in the future
4/ disabled agenda sync for the account (+ checked that data was erased)

7/ re-enabled the agenda sync + sync => no more that 2 months in the future

I am now with hi-speed internet here, so after 30mn I think that I can get more than 2 months of data, and more : the agenda data in the future stop always at the 7th of Nov. with or without the patch (exactly 2 months).

Ok, Let me check things out. Can you try to put the tweaks json file in? I get my Pre3 later today, so I can check it out on device. But I know it works on the emulator. It might be something on device that is different.

Yep. Just tried with JSON file in place. Procedure was :
1/ installed JSON file
2/ disable agenda sync + checked that data is erased
3/ install patch (it was not installed at this stage) + restart
4/ re-enable sync + sync => no more that 2 months in the future, again...

If you want me to test other things, just let me know. But I will be barely available before tomorrow morning (around 9:00 CET / 7:00 UTC).

I am so glad I didn't notice this sync issue until after this patch was already created!

I installed it through preware.. I ended up having to completely remove the google account and then re-add it, and then it started working. Hooray!

Could you be more precise please ? How did you install it ? Can you give me a detailed procedure ? Were you able to synchronize more than 3 months of calendar for the 1st sync ?

Updated first post to 1-2. It seems the Pre3 is faster than it's cousins so, the patch had to be modified. I'm not so sure the tweaks settings will work with it. But the default 12 back, 48 forward will.

Bad luck with me... Still no success... Strange...
Should I go back to factory settings and then try to reinstall ?

What I've done tonight :
1/ disable agenda for the google account => data is erased
2/ uninstall previous patch version + restart luna
3/ install tonight patch version (1-2) received by email, install with Internalz + restat luna
4/ re-enable agenda sync => No data after 8 of November.

Any suggestion ?

I don't see anything on that list that would cause an issue.

Once you have the patch installed. Just try toggling the calendar off. Go back into the calendar do a manual sync now. then toggle the calendar back on and do a sync now.

It appears I have the same issue. I finally got it to work by using the email link. It installed just fine. I have done all appropriate luna restarts. I also tried doing the instructions exactly as you specified above, but also only get out to 8 November. I have google calendar open in a separate browser window to verify the dates are still in there, which they are. ???
