    It was actually neither of those things, I restarted my phone just for the hell of it and that solved the issue. The new stuff looks great.

    You're awesome.

    Or maybe this:

    Code:
    Icon   Current Temp   Forecasted Condition
                          Forecasted High / Forecasted Low

           ^^^^^^^^^^^^   ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
             Reg size          Stacked

    Icon   80F   Partly Cloudy

    Love the idea, and looks great! Hopefully it can be made compatible with Sconix's patches...

    That looks like a good idea. Not sure if I'll have any time to work on this patch tonight though since I need to concentrate on getting my site back up first.

    Maybe tomorrow...

    Statusbar Weather Widget v1.1 for webOS 1.4.5

    Someone wanna test this out for me?

    This patch has not been tested at all. I don't have a 1.4.5 Emulator set up...

    Anyone?

    I won't be able to do any webOS stuff for at least the next couple days, so I'd like to get this 1.4.5 version ready tonight.

    Could be that there's another patch interfering. Will try on a clean Pre later that day...
    Yea, sounds like another patch is conflicting with it...

    Anyone with a clean top bar wanna try installing?

    Ok, gotta get to bed. I won't be at my PC for the next two days, so I won't be able to fix the 1.4.5 patch if it doesn't work. If you try it, please let me know if it works. If not, I'll try to get it fixed in a few days.

    Nice, cant wait to try this.
    A nice addition would be a dropdown menu (with advance system Menus - Framework) where you see more information (Place, 3 Days forecast or something like that)
    Would this be possible?

    Anyway, Great Work!

    I won't be at my PC until probably Saturday morning, so I can't check to see what changes you made. What's different from my 1.4.5 version?

    So, the icon and the first line show the conditions at the moment. The second line shows the forecast, in this format:

    Forecasted condition H/L, or:

    Partly Cloudy 13/6

    I don't think this would be too wide. Also, maybe you could play with a slightly smaller font on the bottom? You could also make this second line a different colour, to distinguish it from the temp above (maybe a darker grey).
    how about show both, show high low for 5 secs and than have it switch to the conditions for 5 secs

    from what i can tell all reference to Mojo.Dom.get where replaced by $

    and this line was added

     },

     refreshCarrierText: function() {

    +	if(status==0) {
    +		$('weather-icon').className = 'thunderstorms';
    +		//$('weather-status').innerHTML = "Tornados";

    actually there are alot more differences toward the end of the patch file.. im lazy right now

    Just let me say I LOVE this patch. Just had it on my Pre2 and it just looks awesome on my top bar. If you could just app a script to check wether there is a data connection or not, maybe just displaying the last known state when no connection is available, it would be fantastic and stay on my device.
    For now, I did remove it because error does not look nice
  16. #96
    Yea, it won't install. Conflicting with Sconix framework patch....dang!

    Yea, I need to add something to check for a data connection. I might be able to hop on my laptop for a little bit tonight and do that.

    Well, my browser is cutting off a lot of that code, so I can't really see it. If someone confirms that it works, I'll add it to the top post.

    I can set it up so that it will switch between the two when you tap it. Would that be better?
