Hi Loiter, hi guys,
happy new year to all of you! Did you have any news on that 1.4.5 testing thing? I use a Palm Pre Pixi and would like to help you with that - I really need those greek characters! Cheers |

You can contact studyhood (the user in the previous posts). I sent him the patch to test it and I believe he made some changes and managed to get it working. PM him.

OK here it is.
I didn't make it, I haven't tested it, I'm just the courier. You test it and if it is ok, we'll add it to the first post. If not, I have no responsibility.

Hi guys, there I am again...!
I tested the patch on my phone (Pixi Plus from Vodafone Germany, no branding) and found out some problems regarding the sms'es. When sending an sms out, I can see the greek characters, but my counterpart reads only question marks... Then I installed Shura's russian layout and tried it out with russian characters: again, the sms received on a russian smartphone (so no excuses about missing fonts) appeared to have misunderstood the coding, so only question marks for me today. I have no explanation for that, maybe we should ask Shura if he's facing it too. Apart from that, all other functions seem to work flawlessly. Enjoy! |

You might want to check the following file:
/usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.messaging/app/utilities/CharacterCounter.js This part: Quote:

Unfortunately, I can't find the greek small letters on the 7 bit default alphabet: The 7 bit default alphabet So how am I supposed to add them? |
