That is a nice feature! A visual warning if you have your pre sitting somewhere where you can't see percentage. Cool!

I don't like the idea of changing the entire statusbar colour, but I do like the idea of changing text colour:

Code:
batt %:

100-75  white
75-50   yellow
50-25   orange
25-0    red (and blinking?)

cpu temp:

<40     white
40-45   yellow
45-50   orange
>50     red (and blinking?)

Exactly. I think it would be useful to have. It's a good way to grab the user's attention and make them do something about their overheating phone. lol

Here's the patch. It installed fine in the Emulator, so there shouldn't be any problems.

Which version of the patch is this? Can you provide a short description of the features.

With so many ideas floating back and forth, it's hard to keep track.

Can you test this patch.

I'm working with modded files right now. Here's how simulate the overheating:
Code:
onSuccess: function(payload2) {
if(payload2.temperature_C) {
payload2.temperature_C = 52;
this.controller.get("tempc").innerHTML = payload2.temperature_C + "°";

if(payload2.temperature_C >= 50) {
Mojo.Dom.get('tempc').className = 'temp-level4';
Mojo.Dom.get('statusbar').className = 'status-bar-alert';
}
else if(payload2.temperature_C >= 45 && payload.temperature_C <= 49) {
Mojo.Dom.get('tempc').className = 'temp-level3';
Mojo.Dom.get('statusbar').className = 'status-bar';
}
else if(payload2.temperature_C >= 40 && payload.temperature_C <= 44) {
Mojo.Dom.get('tempc').className = 'temp-level2';
Mojo.Dom.get('statusbar').className = 'status-bar';
}
else {
Mojo.Dom.get('tempc').className = 'temp-level1';
Mojo.Dom.get('statusbar').className = 'status-bar';
}
}
Add the red part.
