    OK. I'd rather do that. I think I have completely removed all top bar patches already. Can you help me do this?

    Download this and extract it. Send bar-assistant.jsjsjs $to$:
    /usr/lib/luna/system/luna-systemui/app/controllers/

    Luna reboot and see if that help.

    Just to verify. This is for 2.1, right?

    Also, should I install your Glass 3D theme first?

    Ooh. I think you are supposed to remove themes before running EPR.

    Didn't work...

    I guess I'll try EPR. Sure would like to save my list of patches...

    Yeah I did...or tried...using Preware...it said it was uninstalled but the theme disagreed...so I ran EPR. The theme will not die. I saw in the thread for it that others had a similar problem...I just haven't cared enough to tackle it. Too busy trying to calm Angry Birds.. lol

    Preware worked just fine for me...and I like that it keeps the patches in the list so you can hold off on installing them if you need to...

    That solves a different problem of saving and restoring the Preware db, which will remain intact after the EPR. Oh, but maybe it would have worked, I see what you are getting at. Hmm. Interesting.

    In any event, I wrote down the patches I had installed and am running EPR now.

    Try this. I had the same problem and this worked for me.

    Using Internalz Pro, go to media/cryptofs/appa/usr/lib/webos-quickinstall/ and delete theme.xml.

    That's it. You may need to luna restart, I can't remember.

    No go...but that's ok...if it comes down to it, I'll just manually put the right files back...or use the repair utility...

    But more patches = more options = more awesome!
    My Pre2, soon to be franken Pre is on its way. The just type doesnt bother me as much as the quick launch bar, but I will take both patches if I can have it. I was just cool to hand someone my phone and they had no idea where to start. Just my wall paper.

    Besides I dont want anyone pick up my phone and get to my phone, email, texts so easily, but it was just a little swipe away. Its gonna be sorely missed. Maybe a blank first launcher page could work somewhat.

    When running the repair utility, I need to point to my 2.1 doctor, correct? Where do I find it? IS it in the meta-doctor/build folder? I am on Bell, so could the doctor be this one:

    meta-doctor/build/meta-bellmo-pre-2.1.0/webosdoctorp101ueude-wr-2.1.0.jar

    It is 199.4 MB.

    I still have the white top bar. Any other files I can try replacing?

    I believe the problem is in your systemui.css file. I think the line for #statusbar must be missing the background color.

    Just to be clear, it's white? And your wallpaper just stops there?

    The fastest fix I think would be for you to just get a stock systemui.css and send it to your phone. You'll need to put it in Internal and send it via internalz pro..

    What version/service are you on? I'm on Sprint, Pre-...if that's what you have I can send you the file..

    I take that last post back...it looks like it would be "body.palm-default"...though, I am trying to play around with the Animated Top Bar patch, and it isn't working...in spite of the fact that the image and all is where it should be...

    EDIT: AAAAGHHHHH!! I was right the first time...it is #statusbar...but the patch had it pointing to body.palm-default. So your #statusbar lines need to be:

    #statusbar {
    height: 28px;
    background-color: black;
    border: none;
    margin: 0px;
    width: 100%;
    padding: 0;
    }
    If you have internalz pro you can open /usr/lib/luna/system/luna-systemui/stylesheets/systemui.css and make sure it's correct..
