WarLord, could I convince you to resubmit to submit the version 1 of the patch with one minor change:

Would you kindly remove the maps section of the patch file? The new Bings map app can not be patched as this was written for the previous Google Maps file, and will fail.

With this one app removed, you will be compatible with updated webOS 1.x devices. Also, could you keep this version with Messaging/Email included as I do not use Scrims patches and quite like the default Palm Dark scheme.

I've been trying to test these minor tweaks locally but the patch will fail 100% of the time being applied through Internalz. I don't know what I've done wrong. Here it is anyway.

Hello. I have a little problem. I getting this error " 1 out of 1 hunk ignored -- saving rejects to file usr/palm/applications/com.palm.app.maps/index.html.rej " and i`m stuck . I don`t know what to do. Pls help.I delete the old com.palm.app.maps with internalz and move the new one bing maps there....so i think the index.html is the same?


Solved: I open the patch in editor end delete the maps section. Long live the WebOS )

Later edit : Wi-fi must pe on and connected.
