[Patch Request] Messaging

It would be great if there was a patch that could do a new card for messaging by pressing the gesture area (or the shift or orange key) and conversation that you want to open in a new card. I currently have the new card per conversation patch, which works fine, but I don't always need a new card, and that can get annoying. The hold to open in new card patch, was very glitchy and took away my ability to sign in to i.m. This would be an awesome patch if someone could make it.

You idea for this patch is great OR they could fix the Hold to open new card patch.

Either of that would make my life easier

yup..agree...

we use messaging too often and it is best to maximize it

It is a great idea specially if sending gets slow or sends an attachment it could stop all your messaging tasks and stay on the way... it'd be great if we could have a meta shortcut to open up a car for composing...
