Trying the kernels means you should always be prepared to fix your phone, in case of borking. That's why they warn you about it.
And sketch is right, it was recoverable, very hard to brick a Pre. Otherwise, warlord would've done it by now! LOL

No WebOS Internals software has permanently bricked a webOS device.
All non-bootable devices that have been brought to us have been easily recoverable by one of the 4 levels of recovery procedures on our WebOS Internals Recovery wiki page. -- Rod |
