This patch is updated from my version one. Now it works as you'd expect.

Its all ways the large landscape clock when in the stock clock app. Orientation doesn't change anything.

edit: this is the version with button controls on the clock, but I'm using helidos' version.

I've figured out how to keep the buttons in the clock scene all ways hidden so that they never show. anyone know how i would get tapping on the screen to go to the alarm menu?

doesnt it have something to do with this (Mojo.Menu.commandMenu) for tapping, and this command:'cmdAlarms1' for going to the alarm menu scene?

    thanks

is there an app in which if you tap anywhere on the screen, it'll go to another scene? I need some referance, thanks.

    Try this one out...

I fixed the screen tap moving to the alarm settings. Should do what you want

np, glad I could help. I actually like your idea even though I rarely use the clock its a nice addition to the app. Time to put a few of the webos 2.0 themes back in and see how it looks

If anyone wanted to conjure up a few more lines of code, another cool feature could be that the app automatically reverts to the clock scene from any other scene in the app after three or four minutes of inactivity. That would go gr8 with how I'm using this app with this patch and mode switcher.

this is the same thing, except you have to tap-and-hold to get to the alarms, and not just tap. just to make that action a little more intentional.

    Two questions:

Is it possible to set that scene as a free rotate rsther than lock it in either position? (portrait / landscape)

Is there some way to do this with the clock that displays when the Pre is on the Touchstone?

I too would love to see the patch work so that if the Pre were on the touchstone it would dim the display (user selectable level?) and allow the phone to determine portrait vs landscape
