it will work fine if/when webos internals tells you it has been updated to work with 2.0

until then you will use the standard kernel that comes with webos 2

ok thank you, and will preware and all patches work? or will i have to wait for them to be updated too

You'll most likely need to wait for most of the patches to be updated before you can use them.

when pre gets updated then you will be able to load it . internals will keep everyone up to date and should have it ready for reloading for the update . as far as all the patches , they are up to the dev's to update and will most likely put places hoders in preware for them untill they are correctly working. and there is the saved package list in preware so you wont have to remember all the patches , also there will be alot of patches that will be voided by the update because of palm adding them into the OS .

they wll be updated. Some may e updated before, some after. And some won't be needed any more. It depends.

but preware and patches are usually updated pretty darned quick.

personally I plan to doctor to a stock 2.0 just to try it without any extras and see how many patches it takes to meet my needs. For example, the patches for more launcher pages, named pages, etc will be replaced by core functionality backed in to 2.0
