cant get mobile hotspot (hombrewed for sprint) to turn on

im trying to get the mobile hotspot + freetether method to work, but although i have all 3 files downloaded i cant get it to work.

i have a sprint pre, downloaded the hotspot app from some where online, and both freetetherd files from their official sources. the service is the 0.0.3, the tether app is 0.0.1 and the hotspot is 1.0.3

both apps open fine and the tether seems to work fine, but the hotspot app wont turn on. i can set the security but thats about it....

so did i do something wrong? or any ideas what the problem would be?

you need to update the hotspot app....

my issue if it all connects but no internet access, there was an update last week and hasn't worked sense. All I get is local access now
