Default [Patch] Hide voicemail-button

This patch is for my father, who does not use his voicemail, but keeps inadvertedly pressing the button.
Maybe somebody else can use it too.

The same is ofc done on the callogscreen itself.

One for english and one for german devices.

It's in Preware now!

Cool but is there a way to center the call log button now? It looks weird with the voicemail button missing?

stu5797 can you specify?
You have to restart the phone (luna at least) for the patch to take effect as the phone program is always open in the background.

Sure but there is not much info. I emailed the patch to myself and installed thru Internalz. Had a patch installation failure.

I suspect that you have another patch installed, that changed the files.
My patch does not increase/decrease the number of lines of the files so if you find the patch you should be able to uninstall and successfully reinstall it after applying my patch.

It would be cool if you could do a patch that didn't hide the voicemail button, but made it launch YouView.

StuntmanMark that should be doable, but will have to be in a separate patch.

I have a pixi so that might be why it does not work anyway to make pixi compatible?
thanks

It would be sweet if something like this were incorporated in ACSP as a menu toggle.

Shouldn't be too hard (and is definitely doable), but I need to get home and download the webOS-doctor for the pixi first.

I just found out that sprint devices do not seem to have German as a language option, what would explain why the patch failed.

I split the patch into an english and a german one, Pre and Pixi should be the same.

I think cantaffordit posted this! Its awesome! Use at your own risk
"" Reprogram Vmail
* Enter Your MSL Code in the Dialer. (Ex. ##******#)
* Wait and it will verify the code and pop up a Service Programming Screen.
* Note and Write Down what is the first and second field.
* The Mobile Directory Number = MDN
* Mobile Station ID Number = MSID **** MUST NOTE THIS ***
* Select Edit at the bottom Right.
* In the TOP Field (Mobile Directory Number), Type the VM Number
you want the Phone to Dial !!!
* In the Buttom Field (Mobile Station ID Number), Put in the number that
was there before. *** The Number you copied down that was in this
field prior to hitting the edit button.
* Hit SAVE - Let Phone come back online.
* Now When hitting the VM button it will dial the number you put in.

Works flawlessly, I use YouMail as well. ""
