Default [Patch Request] Remove Delete/Trash button on Email app

Anyone interested in making a patch to remove the delete/trash button on the bottom right corner of the email app? I can't tell how many times I have accidentally pressed that damn button and deleted emails.

Ok tell you what, if someone can tell me what file I'm looking for and where it is I will take a poke at it myself.

Are you using IMAP email? If so, then just go into preferences and change where items you delete on your phone are sent. They don't have to go to the trash.

For instance, I use gmail Imap and set mine to go to the All Mail folder. That way, I don't actually accidentally trash anything I want/need to keep.

I just pop online, once in awhile, and clean out the stuff that's really garbage.

No, I'm using Exchange. That freakin trash can delete button is just there on the corner of the screen and for some reason I always accidentally touch there and delete emails. I wouldn't mind removing the button then just deleting emails by swiping in the inbox view.

I have created a patch that gives you a confirmation before deleting an email.

Try this patch it only removes the trash can per your request.

Is this patch already in the Preware feeds or will it get there?

I don't think it ever made it to the feeds. Not sure if this updated one will or not. I guess it would be nice if others are interested.
