Hi all,

I am about to have surgery, which means a lot of time at home. I figured I'd take the time to maybe release some of the things I've done to my phone to the community.

One thing I have is an upstart service that will look for changes to a personal autocorrect dictionary file, and if it sees them, it then merges that into the system's autocorrect dictionary.

Since this is a standalone service, should I learn how to package it as such, or should I release it as a patch? Pointers on doing either? Can a package or patch ipk contain a custom script for install/remove? I'm comfy writing RPM spec files and such, just haven't delved into what homebrew has come up with for patch management and ipk in general yet.

TIA for any pointers!
