Talking incall volume fix completed!

heres the modified files to up the earpiece phone volume. you must install both of these for it to work.

inside the zip will be both A & B folders. you must send both of these files that are inside the included folders to the A & B folders on your pre.

push them to:

/etc/audio/a/
/etc/audio/b/

reboot

your all set and you can really tell the difference. back up your old files first before pushing these. ENJOY!

if anybody wants to make a patch feel free to do so. thanks go to jc-treo for the help!

i dunno if it would at all since i don't own one. you could back up those two files and apply the patch or push the files and see what happens. worst comes to worse you can restore the backup.

Way to go, Mamouton & Fixxxer! Just when you think you don't need any more patches, LOL!

Mamouton's patch fails for me. Anyone else get it to work?

And what's this actually doing?

what type of error are you getting? Mine's installed with no problem. Please provide more info for troubleshooting.

Looks like it alters the dB scale for when you increase/decrease the volume.

But does it actually increase the maximum loudness of the speaker? I don't know.
