First it looks to have a glass screen and its a 1 ghz processor that will most likely be able to be oc'ed to 1.5, And I personally like the Form factor of the Pre thats why i bought it.

I dont need to change phone designs every year, as long as im getting regular updates and am able to homebrew Im great.

same here, now my incall & back speaker work great! we should bundle all of these fixes into one patch and upload it to preware.

Has any one tried them on the pixi to verify that they do not work?

Put me down for liking these patches! The back speaker is a little too loud in the office but awesome for speakerphone calls and Pandora while driving. Thanks 100 times!

Now if there was a way to increase the bluetooth volume i'd go back to using it, until then I live by speakerphone and that damned corded ear thing.

Do you know if the .txt files we have been editing in the /etc/audio/a and /b directories are different on the pixi than they are on the pre?

Do the patches fail to install? Or are they installing properly but there is no volume change?

I do not have access to a pixi to play with!

    They fail to install
I dont know if those files are differ.

did you find a patch for the back speaker? The posted link is not a patch, and I can't edit the file on my phone, so a patch would be nice.

    (edit: nevermind found it http://forums.precentral.net/gsm-pre/217168-palm-please-boost-volume-pre-4.html#post2714185)

bluetooth might depend on the headset also. I use motorokr s305 which is excellent volume for everything: calls, media, etc.

I think you can use webos quick install to view and copy files off of the phone.

Maybe someone else might have a pixi and be able to send me one of the files?
  16. #76
jctreo you can download the doctor for the pixi and get the files you need.

So do I need to bundle all the speaker patches into one and submit to Preware?
  17. #77
goooo jc treo! Good luck! Thanks for all your work!

    .

I am away from home and do not have access to a bluetooth headset to work with....

Looking at the pixi files now from webos doctor. The audio set up seems much different. I am not seeing where any of the audio config files are...
