K, I tested the patch again and it is working for me.

did you open the overlay% folder (40% 50%...) and drag-and-drop the image inside that folder.
like this;
/media/internal/wallpapers/overlay.png

not this;
/media/internal/wallpapers/40%/overlay.png
Note that the image goes in the wallpapers folder. no folders. e.g., 40% 50% ....

I'm getting a error now savings rejects to file usr/lib/luna/system/luna-systemui/stylesheets/systemui.css.rej novacom: unexpected eof from server

this patch adds lines to the .css file so some patches will stop this patch from installing

un-install some topbar patches, reinstall this patch and put back removed patches.
Up to you
maybe ask over in the Dev forum what the "eof" error is.

It was the advanced systems menus-app menu patch. That was stoping it from installing I took all of them off and that's the only one I can't install now. So it works now.
