font color

I have somehow got my topbar stuck on a very dark blue font. I have switched my theme successfully a handfull of times since with no luck affecting the top bar text. I even added the translucent patch to see if that would revert it to white text... But no, still navy. I have no other patches for text color and my current theme is Clean and Simple. Any suggestions?
