This patch would be great, only one thing keeping me from using it...
Do you think the Device Temperature patch that displays on the battery line could be incorporated as well?

This is exactly, well almost, what I have been wishing for. All it needs is to 'Display the Device temperature added to the Battery line' and it will be absolutely perfect. This is what I posted, just a week ago, in another Device Menu thread. Quote:

By the way, is this compatible with webOS v1.4.2 or does the phone need to be on v1.4.5? Also, why is this not available thru Preware? Also, I presume the 'Data Usage' toggle in the 'Phone' Menu has the same functionality as the 'Data Connection' toggle. Right? |

submited to preware today. Data Usage turns off 1x, 2g and 3g but if you have a WIFI connection you can still pull data.

I can confirm that it installed and so far seems to be working just fine on 1.4.2 (AT&T Pre+).
Thanks, this will increase awareness and help lot's more people to benefit from this excellent patch. It does work exactly the same as the 'Data Connection' toggle in Jason's patch. |

Hahaha! funny how everyone wants it a little different! I too have my prefs for the system menu contents and can't quite find the "perfect" patch for me. Too bad there isn't a utility to choose desired options then auto-generate the patch/ipk file. That would be cool!
BTW, thanks for continuing the efforts warlord9159. Here's what would work for me: temperature and battery level DIM screen brightness control media volume control system volume control phone submenu (radio data roaming) toggles Bluetooth GPS toggle WIFI flashlight led toggle

Looks neat but I'll stick with the customizability of sconix's System Menu mods.

I only wish sconix's still had airplane mode.
Warlord is there anyway you can put the brightness and volume in a drawer like sconix's patches. I like the airplane mode but wish the numbers could be hidden similiar to have you have the bluetooth and wifi hidden.

through internalz? I tried to install that way and I keep getting a error patch failed to install error. actually I have had the same issue with another patch. maybe I'll try running the repair utility and see if something is out of sorts.

How are you getting the patch from Precentral to your phone?
You have to email it to yourself via the email attachment option.
