    I've been outta the loop and need some help fixing some patches. I don't even know where to start a search...

    I'm not sure I understand what you are asking but:

    Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the patches listed after the statement in bold below?

    try using quickinstall to remove them. Otherwise run the emergency repair utility.

    EPR removes all patches, I've never used emergency repair utility myself, which is a surprise considering I've had a Pre since launch day.

    different things. EPR won't remove them, it should fix them.

    but hopefully quickinstall can remove them one at a time...

    EPR will remove them, repair utility SHOULD fix them.

    I personally recommend EPR. Then reinstall the patches you want. 15 mins and your done.
