    I know there's a way to do this manually (and for some reason that method never stuck through a reboot for me), but wouldn't it be cool if you had a patch you could install to completely block the auto-updates?

    I know that I generally avoid installing them until the patches I use are updated to work with whatever new revision of webOS has been released. It'd be great to avoid those annoying nag messages every time I put my Pre on the Touchstone.

    webosinternals.org has some statements that will make it stick.
