Can anyone explain what I'd change in this file to increase the max volume of the front speaker? And can you explain why? Thanks!

Also, is it possible to add a 10th volume level or is the only option to make #9 louder (which would put a bigger distance between it and #8)?

i would like to know this too. And the speaker in general.

I'm assuming I can change the value of the max volume for #9 to 0x26 or 0x27. But I would prefer to add a 10th level. But will anything recognize this? Will I need to change something elsewhere to enable a 10th level?

    You're welcome.

You can increase the red boldface value shown below, but please observe 2 things.

    1. The value is hexadecimal.
    2. Going to high could easily blow your speaker, so go slow.

    Code:
    begin phone_front_speaker_volume_9
        setreg 0x14 0x25
        setreg 0x15 0x1e
I'm pretty sure the 0x1e value is for the sidetone.

Also, you would probably have to edit a few javascripts to add a level 10, not to mention a binary file to make it "real".
