[Patch Request] New & Delete buttons on the Memo app

Would it be possible to add a
"New" & "Delete" button and the bottom of each memo (like the ones found on the Mail app).. ??
I know the memo app is pretty weak but I do use it on a daily basis and I have been waiting for Palm to "update" that app but I guess is not going to happen...
Would that be a difficult patch to write?

I agree I would like to at least be able to delete a memo by dragging it off the pin board.
